GET TO KNOW ZAZU

Azu is a DJ born and raised in the Boston area. Ever since he was young, he always was intrigued with being a DJ after witnessing them spin at family functions.

His music taste has always been eclectic - though born and raised an afrobeat/highlife music scene, as he grew up, he began adding more genres to his music library. His musical versatility and curiosity has helped him to feel comfortable spinning any and every genre - Afrobeats, Soca, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Rock, Latin, and even the occasional Country.

He got his start spinning at house and family parties, as well as functions for his community (including his church), but expanded to playing at college bars and lounges, as well as weddings. He has also played several private events for numerous networking and indigenous organizations as well.

Azu has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boston University. and a Master's Degree in Digital Innovation (IT) from Bentley University.
